    It's normal to be nervous and question what you are doing - I almost passed out the morning of surgery as I was showering I was so nervous! Good luck - you will do amazing!

    So happy for you! Hope you're doing well. Since you just had your surgery I hope you won't mind if I ask you a couple questions

    Did you have a lot of nausea after surgery? Did they give you anti-nausea Meds?

    And how difficult was it to get fluids down immediately after surgery?

    Only a little nausea at first.

    They did give me meds for it and had no problems since.

    Had ice chips at first, then sips of water, no problems.

    Today is my second day. I get broth and tea.

    They gave me anti-nausea med in my iv as well as a patch behind my ear. I didn't have a lot of nausea per second but found myself having that feeling that I was going to be sick a few times. I managed to take deep breaths and control it. I didn't want to throw up. I struggled getting liquids down especially on the 2nd day post op. I feel better today so I'm hoping to get more down.
