Antibiotics?

Sleeved 9/06/16. I have my first cold and sinus infection since my surgery. The urgent care doctor prescribed Augmentin ( amoxicillin ) 875mg. I told her about my surgery.

What is your experience with antibiotics? What antibiotics have you heard you can or have taken? Which ones if any should be avoided?

I left a message for the surgical team. They are closed on Fridays.

After you finish your antibiotics remember to take Probiotics for a couple weeks. Antibiotics destroy not only the bad bacteria but also the good bacteria in your gut. So therefore you will need to reestablish these colonies of good bacteria in order to maintain your digestive process.

I'm just finishing a round of doxycycline for a bad ear infection. I'm about 8 months post op and this is my first round of antibiotics since surgery, but I haven't noticed anything! I do take them with food, but I've had zero pain or stomach upset.

Hopefully yours goes just as smooth!
