My lady has cigna and its a 10% surgery copay am I billed after or befor her surgery.

I have to pay half of out of pocket at pretesting plus hospital copay. :o The numbers shocked me but I am cutting costs EVERYWHERE to make it possible. No turning back now!

    I also have Cigna and it really will depend on if the hospital wants you to pay upfront. This happened to me once when I had foot surgery and they wanted me to put money down. I also have a 10% coinsurance on my policy. The surgery was $49K and I just received my EOB paperwork for the surgery itself and I have to pay $1,100 after all the write-offs and such from the hospital. Luckily it turned out to be less for me. Hopefully it works out the same for you!
