Gallbladder surgery

Any ideas for what I can eat after gallbladder surgery?? Online it says whole grain bread, Pasta and rice and stuff but I can't after VSG. It contradicts itself.

I had my gallbladder out 15 years ago. Most people are told to limit fats after surgery, some have issues with sweets. MOST go back to eating whatever they ate before pretty quickly.

Carbs are not really good for you anyway, post VSG I plan to limit them drastically. Lean Protein and produce are good bets for after both surgeries.

I had my gallbladder out 8 years ago. My surgeon recommended high Fiber, low fat diet at that time. Though, I was back to eating what I wanted within a few months. I think if you stick to healthy fats you'll be ok. The liver takes over the gallbladder functions so you just want to be good to it. :) Good luck!
