Nausea

Hello everyone! So I am about two weeks post op and continue to have terrible nausea. Saw my doc yesterday and he prescribed a different anti nausea med fenergen and assured me that this will pass in time. Anyone else have difficulty with nausea and if so when did it end?

I had the same problem you are experiencing. Mine lasted for about two months. Mine was so severe I couldn't even take down any Vitamins but I'm now 7 months post-op and I've lost 117 lbs and no more nausea issues. My doctor put me on the same medication at the time. Your doctor is right it will pass in time. .......let me know if you have any questions or just need to vent. The beginning is very very hard but it won't last I promise!!

Hi NudgieNemo85

I'm 9 days post op and let me tell you my experience was not good, as far as pain it was horrible and I feel somewhat regretful, I still do but I'm hoping things do get better with time!! As for the Nausea is the worst feeling ever, they had me on zofran and then phenegan, but at last I stayed with zofran and it has been working. I say if differs on everybody and I pray and hope for all of us who have the nausea goes away.

Thank you! Glad to know I'm not the only one with horrible nausea. I hope your pain and nausea get better. Luckily my pain isn't too bad.
