Kaiser West Los Angeles

Hello everyone! My sleeve surgery at Kaiser West Los Angeles, is scheduled for December 14 and I'm going to see my surgeon Dr. Kim for a pre-op appointment tomorrow.

I'm a nervous wreak right now about the appointment and the surgery.

Has anyone had their surgery at Kaiser West LA?

I've read so many sleeve surgery success stories, but the stories of sleeve surgery post-op pain, complications and failures, have me filled with anxiety.

Should I be as insanely nervous as I feel right now?

Don't look back, turn the page, and let your next chapter begin!

Unfortunately, I can't say that I have had surgery at the facility your talking about because I live in Alabama. What I can say, is that while it is a scary process (as any surgical procedure is to me) it was the best decision of my life. I didn't have a whole lot of pain after surgery and used very little of the pain meds that were given. You can do this! You will be so happy you did. I am 8 months post op and I have lost 120lbs. I have so much more energy now, my body doesnt hurt all the time.

I hope the best for you. Good luck!

Thank you! The words of your super positive experience are greatly appreciated. I think right now I definitely have to focus on the enormous benefits of having the tool that surgery can provide.

Thanks again. You're awesome!
