Low Carb Pasta

Hey everyone!

Was looking up options for low carb Pasta and came across something called Miracle Noodles (www.miraclenoodles.com).......has anyone tried them? Would you recommend this product? Are there any other types of low carb pastas that you can suggest?

  • I don't do pasta at all anymore. I do Zoodles (zucchini noodles). They're yummy! I don't even miss pasta.

  • I still haven't tried this. http://www.eatbanza.com These noodles are made from chickpeas so they are lower in carb and have good Protein. I've read they are really good.

I love spaghetti squash in place of noodles. Not a zucchini fan either. If you've never had spaghetti squash, try it. Even my kids love it.

Is it as simple as it looks to make?

I poke the crap out of one with a fork, toss it in the microwave for 10-15 minutes depending on size, turn it over and nuke it for another five. (Put it on a paper plate for easier clean up.) Once it has caved, cut it in half, scoop out the seeds and then scoop out the strands.

Add olive oil, salt, pepper, Parmesan or red sauce. Or, use it as the rice under stir fry. Delish.

Seems easy enough! I was worried about getting the strings out without turning it into squash casserole or something haha. LOVE the easy cleanup part
