4 days post sleeve

I had sleeve surgery on November 16, and have been meeting my Protein and hydration goals since I was discharged. I'm completely exhausted, but I assume that's normal and will get better.

I'm amazed that I had the courage to have most of my stomach removed, but I'm so glad I did.

Congratulations! I am almost 3 months out and I still can't get all my Protein in, so it sounds like you are doing great. It's still hard for me to get all of my recommended liquids in as well, but I am really close. Keep up the great work and I wish you all the best of luck!

It will totally get better! You will have more energy than you ever dreamed. I was dead tired for first couple months, walking daily really helped. Also be sure to keep up on your Vitamins.

Congratulations on doing this for yourself!

Just got my sleeve on the 18 th of November. Ended up in the ICU for 3 days post op, internal bleeding and needed blood transfusions, vasopressors, and remember none of it. This is the type of things that happen to RN's. So far getting Protein drinks in and liquids

I had a car accident 10 days after my surgery inAugust so had more swelling than normal. I struggled for quite some time getting all my Protein, but the NUT just had me drink a shake a day in addition to foods I was able to eat. That gave me 30 g immediately.

My energy was horrible. At 4 weeks I biked and barely made 4 miles. At 10 weeks I went hiking and did20 miles one day and 10 on another. What a difference!

You'll get there. Give your body time to heal. Walking will help immensely!
