Yes, i feel you. Like i said, i wish id had those concerns while i was in the hospital but i went through those first 3 days perfectly. But as soon as i got home, i guess because i wasnt constantly hooked to the iv, a nurse coming around every 4 hrs with nausea meds, then i let it get out of control because my stomach was and still is just so darn tight that i didnt want to drink and then i got dehydrated and once that happens, its almost like a really bad flu that you just cant shake. The first episode of dehydration, i was so severely dehydrated that i had to get a couple bags of fluids, then it took me a week to get the strength to get back walking. I would lay down and felt like i was on a roller coaster ride, that sickening . And last but not least, I CANT sleep worth nothing now. Idk why, but i cant fall asleep, my stomach makes these wild ass sounds that drive my yorkie crazy. You can sit across the room and actually hear my stomach, how crazy is that? Keep in touch ok, and ill check on you. The weight is going to fall off, some faster than others.

For pain that has lasted that long, even if you have overeaten, I would go and get it looked at!! There could be something else going on. Are you having any problems going to the bathroom before this? The only time I had pain is when I was badly constipated or before I realized the RNY made me lactose intolerant!

Hi, I'm Pearl from Florida. I am 73 and will have Roux-en-Y bypass on March 2, 2017.. i have great peace about surgery but I'm struggling with arthritic knee pain so bad that I cannot walk without a cane or walker, and then only with tremendous pain. Since I know I have to walk after surgery, i'm concerned about pain of tummy and knee. The pain issues scare me.
