3rd Fill - feeling weird

Ok, I had my 3rd fill this afternoon. I did just great, went easier than usual actually. When I walked out to go set up my next appointment though, I started to feel really woozy and shaky. Very cold all of a sudden and weird. Anyone else ever have this happen? I was tempted to walk back to nurse's station and ask to see the doc again, but I was running late for work. I have to tell you though, I was a little worried I wouldn't make it to my car. I was fine after awhile and a couple drinks of water. Has anyone else had this happen?

I have -- I hate needles, and the doctor said it is your bodies fear reaction - shutting down. Doctor told me to be sure to eat plenty of Protein before my appt.

First fill - I ate nothing before hand - almost passed out during the fill - took 1.5 hrs.

Second fill - had protein before and husband drove me - I was clamy and slightly awkward feeling.

Third fill - had protein before got done with the fill and started feeling lighthead and sat down and relaxed and then was fine.

Forth fill - drank a 42gr Protein shake on my way to the fill and no issues what so ever! I think I finally licked it -- (keeping my fingers crossed)

WOW... that is awful! I'm sorry you have such an ordeal with your fills! I have only had this happen this time.... and I don't have an issue with needles so I'm not sure what is going on. I will try to have more protein before next time though.

Thanks!

I would give the doctor a call -in the morning and talk to him - since you don't have fear issue.

Just to be safe!

Wishing you the best!
