Louisiana Coverage, help!

I currently have united health care and they cover the surgery but there is a 6 month wait as you all know. My job is going through some changes and we have open enrollment coming up to choose health care insurance. What other company covers sleeve surgery and doesn't have such a long wait? By the time I reach the 6 month mark I may not be able to take off to get the surgery. Any advice?

What are the choices available to you during your open enrollment? I'd just call the insurance companies directly and seek out the information. But I bet most of them are going to have a 3-6 month pre-op diet program requirement. (You never know, though.)
