Hi Faith. I went through the Weight Loss Surgery education program at Kaiser with Medicaid.

The length of the Kaiser program is only 3 months now. I finished the program and all the Pre-Op testing in late September, and I'm scheduled to have the sleeve surgery on December 14.

I'm really nervous, but the Kaiser program makes sure you're well educated about the surgery and how to handle the Pre-Op and Post-Op lifestyle changes.

Give the education program a chance and upon completion, you still have up to a year to decide if the actual surgery is something you want or not.

Good luck!
