Scheduling surgery question

Once approved by insurance, how long did it take to get your surgery scheduled? I know every place is different just wanting to get some parameters.

Thanks in advance!

Once my insurance was approved, I then had to have some pre-op testing done before surgery was scheduled. Mine was approved the end of June and with some delays by the surgeon - I didn't get surgery until 10/18. If there's a wait - take advantage of it to prepare yourself for life after surgery. Work on any eating issues you have - emotional eating, boredom eating, etc.

I was approved in late April or early May and scheduled for mid-June -- my surgeon was all booked up until then.

This really depends on the surgeon and their schedule at a point in time. I did self pay and could have gotten in in less than a month, though I needed to make it a bit later due to scheduling conflict.

After approval, I was scheduled in two weeks. It's all up to the surgeon.
