Is your trainer aware of your surgery? Can you find a trainer that works with bariatric patients? You are pretty early out to be increasing carbs. At 12 weeks I was able to eat some salad and some veg

25 grams of carbs before a workout is not that much and oatmeal is a good choice. Try it and see what happens. 80 grams of Protein is great! Dehydration can cause fatigue. Try to focus on getting more

Need some advice. I'm about 12 weeks out RNY. I've been doing great with my weight loss and with walking everyday. I decided to add strength training to my routine twice a week. I feel great but have also been feeling exhausted- if that makes sense. Lol I'm having a hard time with fluids. I work a fast pace job and barely able to drink 12-oz during my work day. Then pushing fluids after work isn't easy either. Might get 36oz a day...52oz on strength training days. Im sure this could this be causing exhaustion. I'm getting about 800+ calories most days. My question is...my trainer wants me to increase carbs...good carbs...for working out. Is this something I should do? I'm kinda panicked about adding carbs. Anyone have any advice for diet during hard workout days?
