WHEN YOUR GOAL IS NOT ENOUGH

So as I am now within 30lbs of my "goal", I'm beginning to think that it may not be enough. When you hit your original scale goal , were you happy? Did it just make you want to drop more weight? Or was it just great to have come so far and you went straight to maintenance mode?

Please share with me...I see a lot of people have moved way passed the "goal" they set for themselves.

After my first WLS (I have LapBand and am revising to RNY) I set my goal to 199. I couldn't even imagine being smaller. I think that was a mistake because I got to 218 and stalled. I didn't push myself to go further because I couldn't see myself even being smaller and convinced myself being healthiER (not healthy) was good enough. Not again. I'm ready to go as far as I can, but at the same time, I won't be upset if I don't get to my prepuberty weight.
