Approval letter

I called bcbs of IL today and they said they approved and generated my approval letter today. Does anyone know how long it usually takes to receive that? I don't think my surgeon will schedule me until I have the actual letter.

      Thank you! I actually called bcbs and asked them to email it to me and they did! I sent it over to my surgeon so I should have a surgery date within the week!! Sent from my iPhone using the Bariat

      I have bcbs as well. When I got approved the letter got mailed to my address and I recieved it about 4 or 5 days later. Hope that helps!

    @@thmitchell Mine wasn't received for a while but my surgeon knew that it was approved. I would call your surgeon's office - they should be able to look online to see that it was approved. Congrats!
