Pregnancy after MGB

I would like to hear from those who got pregnant or trying for pregnancy after Mini Gastric Bypass. It seems I can't find someone to talk to regarding this.. I need to know more about the medical care before during and after pregnancy. How far after MGB did you get pregnant? Have you had any fertility issues after MGB? It seems since I lost a lot of fat my estrogen levels went down and I'm having a thin lining now. I don't know if this is an issue that will resolve on its own by time since I'm only 5 months post-op

It's extremely important that you wait until cleared by your surgeon though (18-24 months for my program) as it can be dangerous to you and the baby to get pregnant sooner.

I was actually looking for someone who specifically had MGB since its pretty much different from RNY. My doctor said I can start trying after 3 months since I didn't have much to lose to start with. I'm 5 months post-op but haven't started trying yet just following up with my Oby-gyne .. though I'm planning for an IVF cycle two months from now.
