I am sorry this happened. Hopefully you will be able to get in and get your Cpap pretty quickly. It really does not take a lot to fit you for a mask. Have you made an appointment yet?

I have been fighting for 2 years to make it through this process and get scheduled for my RNY. Now, when I finally see a light at the end of the tunnel, I hit an obstacle. My surgery was approved prior to doing the testing. Everything was going great, preop scheduled for 8/25. Then I got a phone call today from the surgeons office, my preop has to be cancelled because I have been diagnosed with moderate to severe sleep apnea. I have to be fitted for a CPAP before they can reschedule unless my doctor is willing to write a letter clearing me for surgery without the machine. Of course that is not happening. I just want to cry.
