Eating very quickly

I am almost two weeks out and am still on the liquid diet. I think I drink Water and crystal light way too fast as well as Protein shakes but I have noticed that when I drink the shakes too quick I get some discomfort. It would take me about 30 minutes to finish a shake rather than the recommended hour. Has anyone else dealt with this?

There's a reason that one hour is recommended. It tends to prevent discomfort from drinking too quickly.

The most frequently-recommended solution to discomfort from drinking too quickly that I've ever heard is to drink more slowly. It has worked for me.
