Last surgeon visit

So I'm at the end of getting everything turned in to see if I get accepted and tomorrow is my appointment to talk to my new surgeon. what are some things that I can expect from this appointment? When does someone usually get a date, is it after their information is accepted? Furthermore how long does it take for your information to get approved?
