So, its almost a year and I'm excited but a little anxious about it. My weight has gone up and down and stalled but I finally am starting to lose more weight since being off risperidone.
Here is a little update:
I saw my PCP and she told me I was a little bit anemic and she told me to buy Iron pills. I already had been taken iron pills before my blood work so she just said increase to two a day.
My PCP also put in a referral for me to see a GI for a colonoscopy and to see a new bariatric surgeon. I am still waiting for the calls.
My aprn finally took me off risperidone and I am on vraylar and I have been for two days. I already lost .8 pounds.
I am no longer taking any sleep meds and I am now just taking one antidepressant.
I started therapy a week ago and she works with gastric bypass patients so she really seems to understand.
I also haven't had any rectal
bleeding for this month and no stomach cramps as well as no dizziness either.
My b12 was really high so I was told to stop taking it for awhile. Now I am taking b complex, iron and a Multivitamin.
