Atlanta GA, anyone?

Hi,

I'm in North Atlanta and having RYGB in late 2016. Doing the pre-op diet and exercise now. My surgeon is Dr. Hart from Atlanta Bariatrics. I'm a 50 y.o. male trying to get healthy for my wife and daughter. Any other men out there starting the same journey?

Hey Chris,

I know I not a male but I saw your post, since I'm from Atlanta too, I just wanted to reply. I'm Tori. I'm 28 in age but probably 60 in my mind. lol! I'm having the RYGB August 4th at Emory Johns Creek with Dr Williams, I think our surgeons are in the same group. I don't know about you but I'm pretty nervous, excited, and a whole list of other emotions. Like yourself I want to get healthy for myself and for the family I plan to have in the very near future. Have you been to any support groups in the area? I hope everything goes well with your journey! :)

Hey Tori,

Thanks for the reply. Dr. Williams is an different group I think but I'm having the surgery at Emory Johns Creek as well. It's a first-rate facility from what I can tell. Still looking for support groups but I have a little time yet.

Best wishes for your surgery. I'm sure that it will go great and you'll be glad you had the operation. Keep me posted on what you think of the hospital and the staff.

Chris
