We are the TENaciousTENS!

We're official then! The TENaciousTENS! We will stick together and get this job done! Then we can Celebrate our new lives together! Here is my favorite quote from the yahoo lap band group:

"Band surgery is the easy part. Now finish what you started so you can LIVE the rest of your life. Be brave and be patient. The surgery date is a turning point in you life. Don't turn back."

Together, lets go forward! I'm happy to be a proud member of the TENaciousTENS!:clap2:

Aloha Tens,

Can we get some updates on how your weight loss is coming. I started at the beginning of the month 10-2 and down 28.75lbs.

Miriam

I am up for giving an update. I have lost 31.5 pounds. For weeks there was nothing, and now I have started to lose again. I had to make some changes to get the weight loss going again. I started exercising (cardio/toning), increased protein, and increased water intake.

Banded 10/12 ..so far I've lost 36.5 pounds. I am looking forward to my first fill on 11/27 as I feel constantly hungry. I'm trying to stick to a 1000 calorie a day diet til then (which is hard when you have no restriction).

In one more pound, I will have lost 1/4 of the weight I need to make my final goal! woohooo hoooo!

Well I've lost almost 30, but half that was during the pre-op diet. Blah. I have been exercising really hard, but the eating part's not going as great. I am finding myself making stupid decisions again -- got to STOP that!! I get a fill in a couple weeks...YAY!!! :) You guys are all doing great, so congrat!!

Becky checking in: I was banded on 10/18 and have lost 19.5 lbs. Had first fill (adjustment) on 11/1. Go in for my next fill on 12/20.

Here's to us Tenacious TENS!!

I get my first fill soon after you, by Dr Krish. Good luck and keep up what ever you are doing.. Rick:clap2:

I had my band on Oct 18th. I weighed 223.5 and am now 204.5. 4 weeks out and 19 lbs gone. Not too bad!! My goal is 125.

My lapband surgery was on October 8, and I want to be a tenacious ten. Can I be a part of your group? I would love to get a little motivation as I am struggling a little bit. I am not sure why; I feel that I am following all the rules.

By the way, I love the name! I want to be tenacious!

On behalf of all us struggling tenacioustens, welcome! We are glad to have you as part of our group. This is a great forum for support, to vent or even to ask questions!

Keep us posted how you're doing!

Hi to all the Tenacious Tens,

I'd like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

This time next year we'll all be comparing fabulous before and after pictures so that's something to aim for - no pressure of course!! Don't forget to take a Christmas Day 2007 photo to compare with Christmas 2008 - should be fun!

Have a wonderful holiday (if you're not working) and enjoy your friends and family.

Very best wishes, Jude.
