So after my initial appointment with my surgeon I made an appointment for my mental health clearance with an old psych practice that I use to go to. Then I found the info in my packet with the psych practice that surgeon recommends. I called and made an appointment with them too but something told me not to cancel the other one. Well on Monday, day before appointment with surgeon recommended one, I received a phone call that the provider they were having me see was not in network. She said that they could try to submit a different provider but it could take 10 days for approval and I would have to pay for Tuesday's appointment out of pocket. It was going to be around $1,000!!! I told her to cancel it! Luckily I never canceled original appointment. I had it today and was cleared by them!! Now only 2 more months with NUT and then time to submit to insurance!! Getting more real everyday!!
