Feel weak!

I'm 4 weeks out of surgery and am raring to get in the gym and lift some weights, the only thing is I feel like I've lost my strength, it's obviously because I can't eat much but will it come back eventually? How long did any of the guys wait before they got in the gym?

I was in the gym after week three for low impact (15 min) cardio. Week 6 I was cleared for 30 _45 mins and 5lb weight. Week 8 I was cleared for everything but weights under 25lbs. 90 day I was cleared and could do whatever felt good. ????

It takes a while. Take it easy when you do go back. I experienced weakness and dizziness for quite a while even just when walking. I just wasn't getting enough calories or carbs to have enough energy.

I commend you OP for getting right back in the gym. Your strength will return eventually. Just give yourself more time.
