Telling people

I don't want to tell anyone really about my surgery. I'm still pre-op. When people either find out I was in the hospital or had surgery, what kind of surgery would leave similar scars? Or what kind of abdomen surgery can you have? Sorry if this is dumb...

  • Why would anyone be looking at your scars unless you are a belly dancer? I agree that Gallbladder scars are similar. You don't have to lie, but you don't have to tell everything you know!

I didn't tell anyone (other than hubby and a couple of far-away girlfriends) either. :)

Gallbladder scars are very similar to VSG scars. I know -- I had GB surgery 4 weeks after VSG surgery. ;)

And 21 months later, they're all pretty much invisible.
