Congrats! Sorry to hear about the reflux. Do you have meds?

I'm taking Protonix, I think that's how it's spelled. I need to be proactive and take it daily to get all of the acid out. I was trying to wean myself off of meds.

Congratulations. I am 14 days post-op, and lost 8 lbs . But I haven't lost anymore in 5 days. Very frustrated. Especially when i am only getting to have full liquids & 4 ozs at a time.

15 days post-op. I had to go a few places today, and my lower left abdomen really hurt. I am returning to work this Friday. Hope you start feeling better soon.

Im 11 days post op ( bypass) and I've lost 15 lbs. Its so strange looking at the scales and seeing the number.

Ive fasted many times before this surgery...but usually not lost any weight at all.

Im not feeling well though...had a rough patch with pain and dumping that has set me back strength wise.

Congratulations! It is weird to watch the scale. I'm 12 days out now and 19 lbs down. I've of course dieter in the past, but never lost this much this quick. I am exausted today, I'm not sure I'm getting enough Protein. I'm going to be better tomorrow.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
