I was banded 8/6/07 next day (Yesterday) the barium test failed, this morning I could swallow, no test though just water, juice and broth. Now I am home 4hrs away and feel I can't swallow again. They thought it was just swelling.

Any input?

They sent you home after you failed the barium test? I failed too - and had to stay an extra 5 days until I could swallow normally.

Yeah the next morning after the failed test I could swallow fine. Apparently not.
