Just wanted to send an update. I went to see Dr Spivak....I'm scheduled for August 29th!!!:whoo: I can't believe it. I could have done it earlier, but I want to make sure I have everything finished at the office and around the house. Not to mention a baby shower on the 25th...I just can't see eating at a baby shower with a brand new band. what kind of notes were yu wanting me to take? I didn't see that before I left for Houston today. I can fill you in on what we learned if you want.

hi tricia. good luck on your surgery. sounds like your planning it all out well. no need to rush. all that weight will come off. just take it easy on yourself and dont rush it. get all the info you can on the post op diets and when to get fills ...all that jazz. im sure you will do great. cat

Congrats!!

I used Spivak as well and am really happy with my band. I drive 5 hours to go see him for fills since I live north of Dallas, but I think he's worth it. I researched lots of docs before hand and I liked him the best for the distance I was willing to travel. The staff there are great and so helpful. I call when I have concerns or questions (and I use LBT a LOT).

Hugs!
