Vaporizing Marijuana

I'm one week away from converting from band to sleeve. Is it ok to smoke a little bit of weed using a vaporizer 5 days before? Based on the other threads I've read I must state the following:

*Do not judge.

*I don't get the munchies.

*If you've never smoked weed, please don't comment.

@@BarrySue, there is no such thing as "just a nurse".

I think an oil cannibinoid would work as a pain reliever just as good as that liquid crap I drank. It was liquid morphine and tasted bad. I don't know if inhaling and risking a bad coughing spell would be good though. Too much stress on the staples in your stomach. I would give it time to heal before smoking or vaping.

I'm absolutely no expert about marijuana and cannabis extracts.

But I do know that 2016 marijuana and its many derivatives are not the same as the 1969 one- bag-is-the-same-as-another-bag marijuana that many folks experienced.

For instance, sativa extracts of marijuana are not depressives, but reported to be energizing.

And indica marijuana extracts are the relaxing, mellow versions familiar to the general public, whether they've ever smoked (or vaped) marijuana.

The scores (hundreds?) of recreational cannabis extracts now marketed legally in the US range considerably in their effects. Not all products cause consumers to "get the munchies."

As always, Google is your friend.

And, as always, your mileage may vary.

Update: No complications whatsoever. Pre-op or post-op. Fully disclosed that I smoked to the medical staff by way of a vape pen as well as the quantity that I smoked which was 2-3 puffs. I have a dry herb vaporizer pen and a wax pen. Was not an issue. If you are smoking from a vaporizer pen enough to make you cough, then you are smoking too much at once. At least in my experience.
