Surgery Date May 2nd

Yay! I finally got my surgery date. It will be May 2nd. I'm so excited/nervous. My surgeon doesn't require a liquid diet, just high Protein low carb for 2 weeks prior to surgery. He also informed me he does an EGD type test while you are under to check for leaks so you don't have to drink the nasty stuff to check for leaks after!

I'm so excited I can't sleep. Live in Alaska, my doc is 120 miles away, so I'm required to stay in town for 7 to 10 days after surgery, that part I'm not liking. Being in a hotel room trying to recover away from all the comforts of home. I'll be thinking of you... sending quick recovery wishes.

That is my birthday! I totally wish that was my surgery date. But my last supervised weight appointment is in June, so I know that won't happen.

Have you had everything else done other than the supervised weight loss?
