I needed to have a call with the UHC Optum Bariatric Service Center at the very beginning of my process. She just asked me questions and has been available to answer any questions I have.

I retired from BCBS of Florida and they had Health Coaches who were nurses that would do that sort of thing......for certain health conditions.

Yes I had them too, they call you to check on you and to make sure the surgery is going well for you if u have questions! Also to know any complications or what protein or vitamins are working if they are not they do research for you! Is like an additional support line!

I have UHC and agree that it is like an additional support. They have been really good with me.
