I've done it a few times. It works well for me. I know to use it when I get too carby and have to reduce my carb addiction/cravings.

Is this pouch test for sleeve or GB patients?

Or both?

It can be used by anyone. It is basically taking you back to the pre op liquid diet to reset yourself.

I do a version of it every 6-8 weeks or so...it's the only maintenance I can think of with the band...

Whenever I feel my portions are getting larger than usual, then I know it's time.

For me, I believe it has to do with my pouch stretching a bit (which can be normal)...so going all liquids will give it a rest, returning to where it once was, and getting back the restriction.

But I have the Lap band, so my experiences are different from others.

First I have heard this term used. I assume you just go full liquid for 5 days?

Google 5 day pouch test. The information will come up along with the 5 day plan. There are even like 2 books on the 5 day pouch test.
