Nauseous!

Is it normal for protein shakes to make you sick to your stomach? I start my 2 week pre-op tomorrow and I decided to experiment on a shake recipe this morning and it has made me so nauseous.

    I hated my shake. I drank the premier Protein they were 30g of protein. I would drink 2 a day and honestly I would just open up my throat and pour the drink down it as fast as I could. I know they want you to learn to sip and after the surgery I did but I can't stand the shakes, they made me so sick.
