Did anyone get diagnosed with H Pilori when they had their EGD, and if so how long did it take to treat and go away?

I did...they staryed me on antibiotics the day after my endoscopy...which was a few weeks back...two weeks of antibiotics (8 pills a day) for two weeks...i DO NOT have to do the endoscopy again...i have to take a breath test after 1 month of antibiotics being done.

I had to take the same amount of antibiotics for 2 weeks... It did not delay my surgery

No it will not delay your surgery...its actually common.

I did, as well. It did not delay my surgery because the treatment fit nicely inside my six month supervised diet and counseling requirement.
