Hi there! I just started my 6 month process, so I am expecting a June date too :) I am located in Warren, having my surgery done at Royal Oak Beaumont by Dr. Krause. I saw on another thread that you are in MI too! Where about?

Not too far! We can get through these 6 months!

Hooray! It's nice to know there's someone here in MI who is waiting six months too! I mean, it's nice to have a buddy, not that I want anyone to have to wait six months! I'm a 32 year old stay at home mom with chronic illnesses. I'm looking foreword to being able to play with me son!

That was my goal when I originally started the WLS journey with my band back in 08. My son was 2yrs old. Now he is 10. Still need to keep up with him! I want to be active with him and not miss out on stuff I can't do because of my weight.

I just found out that my 6 month timer doesn't start til I have my first visit at the Beaumont weight control center, which I was able to set up for tomorrow. Also, stupid me.... that puts me at mid July, not June. :( sigh......
