Banded 7/17 - help, need advice

Everything's gone well since my surgery last Tuesday except I think I'm still quite bloated and don't know if it's still from the operation or what I'm eating which are only Protein shakes mixed with fruit and/or yogurt or cottage cheese; chicken broth with blended potato; and Tofutti 30-calorie fudgicles.

I also don't know what I'm feeling in my stomach - a tightness - is from the healing (there is still a little soreness) or I'm drinking too many liquids. Or this is part of the healing process and it will disappear soon.

I would appreciate any ideas! Thanks.

I;m a 7/17 bandster, too and have only lost 10 lbs. I understand that the first couple of weeks are for healing, but it seems I read how many others are losing rather quickly even before the 1st few fills.... I feel like I'm eating more during the evenings, because the mornings for me are easy slimfast for breakfast, and another for lunch....But once dinner arrives, I start picking here, then picking there.....it's mushy stage right now, but I'm more hungry in the latter part of the day....HELP!!!!

read your message and i was banded on july 12th and lost 16 pounds the first 2 weeks and no weight loss since... in fact in last 3 days been gaining 3 pounds.. will get a fill on the 2oth...dont know why i would lose almost a pound a day for first 2 weeks and stop losing all together since then... discouraging!!!! Brenda
