I'm scheduled for surgery 12/29 and can't seem to find a clear protein drink that's not made from whey for week 1 post-op. I cannot have any form of dairy or eggs. Anyone find any?

Taste pretty damn good! Not as bad as others that have that chalky aftertaste.It packs up to 32 grams of protein.Comes in a variety of flavors and unflavored.

Not sure one exist. I'd try googling. If it does exist it's likely soy based.

Just googled. One is in the makings called ADM Clarisoy

Also came across VitaClear which can be mixed with juice or Water. I'm assuming you could use diluted juice but you'd have to take into consideration the sugar content of the juice. It's also GMO and Gluten free.

As for vegan shakes, I'd recommend Orgain. They have both powder and RTD versions.

Try Vega One (I think that's the name?) -- I found it at Sprout's, but I'm sure it's plenty of other places as well - and the choc was very tasty!

Sun Warrior vanilla vegan Protein is delicious. I buy it at Sprouts. It's not bad when just mixed with Water, but it's super yummy as you progress and can blend it with kale, spinach, banana, PB2, etc.
