Eating after fill?

I just had a fill yesterday and I was wondering how many of you eat after you have a fill. My Dr has me do liquids for 2 days. I follow the directions. But man am I hungry. Yesterday we went to Krystal Burger and I actually chewed up a burger and spit it out. Pretty bad huh. I just really love that place and it is a long drive so we never go. But I just wanted to know what your Drs rules are on this.

I think one day liquids is pretty standard. Was this your first fill? If so, you could probably swallow anything you wanted to....the first 1 or two usually don't do much restriction....and even if they do it takes a few days to kick in for a lot of people (nobody seems to know why). However, restriction or not....oh, well, anybody that knows me knows my postiion on anything that contains bread at any stage of your fills.

My doc has me do 24-hours of Fluid then 24-hours of mushies and then back to normal. I think that's a pretty normal requirement. They are concerned with swelling right after a fill and don't want you go get anything stuck or irritate your pouch. Some people swell after a fill, but not everyone does.

Hope this helps! :car:
