Hi everyone! I just joined bariatric pal. I am having roux en y on Monday and I am so excited! How do I go about finding buddies or a support group for folks in the same surgery boat?

I'm not really sure if you really need a "buddy"

Seriously everyone on here could be your buddy!

I think tho that if you make a post looking for a buddy then I'm sure you'll get one (or more) very quickly.

I've seen posts where it asks for "looking for a buddy that is having surgery ____"

(For ex: same day as you)

Or

"Looking for a buddy that is also having surgery at such and such hospital"
