Conversion surgery next week

Hi All,

I am having conversion surgery (band to bypass) next week in the UK and I am so nervous. Can anyone tell me how the recovery differed between the two surgeries? Also what was the pain like? I am a new Mum and think this is making me panic as I was not like this with my 2 previous band surgeries. Thanks xx

Hey, I live in Edinburgh so had the op at the spire Murrayfield in Edinburgh.

Wishing everyone yet to have the surgery all the luck in the world.

As far as my progress is going I am healing well from surgery and currently 16lbs down ???? I have stuck at roughly the same weight for past 4/5days but guess I cant be losing 1/2lb a day everyday ☺️ Working out what I can eat can be difficult as things I can manage one day make me ill the next. Still a happy bunny though ???? xx

Yes indeed!

Congratulations on your progress!!

Here is the kicker..,the insurance company is reviewing my case.Surgery set for Dec 28 .Pre admission testing on 23...still awaiting official approval.Ugh
