Hi all,

I am 4 days post op and have woken up today with very strong heart flutters/palpitations. I have had these on and off in a small way since surgery but today they seem very strong.

I will of course be seeking medical advice, I also have hashimotos disease (underactive thyroid) and medication for this could be the cause also, but I just wanted to see if anyone else had experienced this at all?

Call your Dr....there are 100 reasons for this, none of which anyone here should assume to a stranger on the internet.

Being in the Medical field it unnerves me to hear people on this website give out medical advise....and I read it everyday.

I haven't experienced this, so I'd definitely seek a doctor's care. Nothing to fool around with. Hope you feel better soon!
