I'm Approved!

I'm so excited that my surgery is approved for December 15th!!! I was really starting to get nervous because it had been taking the insurance company longer than expected. I start a new job next week, then 3 weeks to finish up the final appointments, then off to Vegas for 9 days and then a weekend a cleansing and then surgery. I can't wait to begin my new life!

Congratulations!! Quick question, do you only have to do a weekend cleanse before the surgery, no two week liquid diet? If so, lucky you!

My surgery is scheduled for December 16 so I'm just one day behind you.

Yes, just two days. I am happy about that but don't understand why there is such a difference between hospitals (or physicians).

Surgery scheduled for December 29th! I think the liquid diet length depends on your BMI and how much you weigh. I don't plan on doing a 4 week liquid diet. If you have a fatty liver, you need to decrease it... Purpose of the 4 weeks of liquids.

Congrats on your surgery day and best wishes!
