December 21

Full time student with short holiday breaks. The 21st was the best date for my schedule.

Wow me too. Full time student, work full time and have two kids. My date is December 17 right during exam week.

My insurance doesn't cover surgery so I am going to Mexico. Don't really have the option of doing it during finals week.

  • 1 month later...

I was nauseous for about a week after surgery due to anesthesia. I promise it does get better. Hang in there.

I'm on day 6 of the pre diet and have lost 8 lbs. already. It's not been too bad but I am allowed more calories than 800. But hang in there . . it will soon be over.

I am allowed more calories I just can't seem to get them in. I can have as many protein shakes as I want, but I am getting sick of chicken and turkey already and stomach tuna without mayo and relish. I'll have some egg beaters today and try to up my protein shakes. Unfortunately, now diarrhea too (sorry, TMI).

My pre op diet allows 3 Carnation breakfasts, 2 lean cuisine meals and 2 cups of vegetables. Not too bad at all.

How is everyone doing? I am 4 days post op and feeling good! Tolerating liquids well. Just short on protein. 2 more says and get to move to full liquids. Looking forward to blended soup and my old protein shakes.

That is the reason why I had my sleeve on the 21st because of school break

I know I'm not getting enough water in because it hurts to drink and eat. I was very weak today I felt like was going to pass out
