Still waiting...(rant to follow)

Still waiting for my surgeon to send the recommendation letter so I can get my insurance to approve my surgery. I'm really starting to freak out that this is never going to happen and this has all been just a big giant elaborate joke on gullible stupid me! I've been done with my end since October 5th and it still isn't done. I know(I think) that it should be done either today or tomorrow at the latest, but OH.MY..GOD!!!! Do they not know how freaking important this is to me?!?!?!?!? It feels like each day I wait is another wasted day that I could have had back with my kids in a healthier body down the road!

Waiting for approval and a surgery date is one of the hardest things!!! Everyday seems like a month.

Hang in there. Hope you get your date soon????

I think I'm going to cry! It still hasn't been sent. ???? I've done everything expected of me and never complained and I've worked damn hard! I've lost nearly 40lbs now on my own and I just want to be able to get my surgery and keep losing. It's getting harder and harder to keep losing even with diet and exercise. It's just doing what it always does which is slows down, stops then reverses. I don't want to lose my progress waiting!!!

Hang in there, my surgeon quit right before I was scheduled, this happened twice. Once I was reassigned I had it within two weeks. The insurance people working with your surgeon usually speed the process as much as they can.

I'm one week post op, met my surgeon on Oct 5.
