Pain on left side?

I was wondering if anyone experiences pain on left side and seems to be relieved with a burp?

Ever since I've had the band (2012) I burp like its my job crazy big huge burps. But lately this pain on the left side has started just wondering if anyone else has this too ????

I get a sharp like nerve pain down my left side neck and arm. It's after I over eat. I had told the doctor after surgery he said I needed to exercise more yeah right that's not it. I guess I will have to live with it and not over eat. I would like to exactly know what it is and if it's going to leave any permanent damage.
