Exercise and hypoglycemia

Anyone get super shaky after morning workouts pre-food? Doc told me to have a banana or some banana with protein pre-workout. I have been struggling to workout. My muscles are super tight. I'm 5 weeks post op but haven't had any carbs along the way. I am struggling to eat 400 cals. Any suggestions or daily food intake from anyone who runs or workouts would be greatly appreciated.

If not so intense, I drink 1/2 of the shake before and drink the other 1/2 after. I do not add any extra carbohydrates.
