Carb Cycling after Bypass?

I am over 13 years out from my 2002 surgery date and I have slipped back into terrible habits. I have gained back 50 of the 100+ pounds I lost in the first year. I'm starting to research Chris Powell's carb cycling and wanted to know if anyone else has tried this tactic after gastric bypass. I know some people who have had the lap band have been successful, but I feel like with our volume limitations, I don't know if it is practical.
