Question about protein drinks

I am pre op and currently have been using either whole foods 365 whey protein powder or bio chem's whey protein powder. While I was enjoying my chocolate smoothie today I realize it has 6g of actual sugar in it. Is that going to be too high to use post RNY? What is the range I should stay below? I also use the pure protein already made shakes, but I REALLY am a Huge fan of biochem's chocolate and am going to be so sad if that's too high in sugar for post op life.

my nut allowed us like 9 diffrent versions one was cyntrax its supposed to have the consitancy of gatorade and comes in lots of fruity flavors so you might want to ask your nut if you can have that if your over the vanilla chocolate strawberry gimmic i plan to get the fruit punch flavor after surgery because well who can say no to fruit punch

i stand corrected on the cytomax the fruit ones are not the protein ones sorry about the misinformation. but i just bought some gnc 100% whey protein from gnc i am a member and right now its half off the membership is 15 bucks for a whole year and the tub is 2 and a half pounds for 24 bucks cant beat that ill let you guys know how it tastes when i get it

is the fruity one a water flavor enhancer? If it is, I'd totally try it!

The fruity one says its a performance drink so it has carbs not sure you want that
