Thanks for your replay regarding my FILL questions... it seems as though as L-day approaches I keep thinking of 'new' issues to obsess over!!!!

So as I understand now from reading several post, a fill is not always accoumpanied by a Fluoroscope.

How much weight did you loose Pre-op/ and Post-Op but before your 1st fill.

My pleasure, I had all kinds of questions and concerns too as did almost all of us I am sure. Completely normal!

My post-op weight loss started before I actually did the Optifast diet. As soon as I knew I was going to have surgery I started watching what I was eating as I did not want any more weight to lose than I already had.

I started at 257 actually (255 is the weight I was at when Dr. Cobourn called me to talk about having the band) and by the time I had surgery I believe I was down to 225... I will have to find out from the clinic when I talk to them again.

My weight loss post op is something of a bonus as I didn't expect to lose while on the post op diet. That is a time for healing, more than for losing. Many people do not lose until they get their first fill. I was 219 when I went in for my second fill which was a 2 pound loss since my first fill.

Hope that helps, but please remember everyone is different. Don't worry about what others are losing, just do your thing peaches, you will do great! Hell I would love to lose like the guys here! But that isn't ever going to happen...lol so I will just keep doing my thing and trying my best to enjoy my new banded life! I can hardly wait to be in the 100's again!! I know I can do it this time with the band!
